Most of us have dreaded math at some point of time in our lives. Whether in school or college, math was always a subject to be hated. From the beginning of educational life, math should be taught with a lot of care. If you are a parent or a teacher, you should make every effort to see that your child or student does not develop a hatred for the subject. This can be done only if the child gets the basics right. Worksheets are a great way of testing a child with him having fun at the same time. Subtraction worksheets are necessary to be solved by a child regularly so that he understands the subject well.
There are many math-based games available in educational toy stores that will help to reinforce the principles your child learns in worksheets. Computer games can help too, but depending on the age of your child, it is best not to encourage too much computer use at an early age. Everyday activities can be turned into math lessons too. A trip to the grocery store can turn into a math lesson if you encourage your child to help you count how many items you are buying, or add up the bottles of milk as you add them to your cart.
Let’s suppose that I’ve already convinced to try some spelling worksheets. You’re probably asking, ”Where can I find some good ones? I want to keep things simple, and I don’t want to spend a lot of money.” Of course, you already know that you can purchase good books of reproducible spelling activities. And you may not have the extra funds required. So if you’re looking for free teacher worksheets for spelling, there are at least three good sources. 1) Other teachers. This is perhaps an obvious, but overlooked resource. Don’t be afraid to ask other educators in your grade level to share spelling pages that work for them. If you’re homeschooling, other parents might be able to recommend their favorite sources or pages as well.
A tip for anger management. Learning to breath deeply can be welcome relief for a lot of rage, stress and fear issues. It’s not that you have to breathe deeply all of the time. Short deep breathing sessions once or twice a day can be a big help. For a massive distress experience, sit or lie down somewhere comfortable. Breath in slowly, and allow the air to fill your lungs from the top at the chest all the way to the bottom around the navel area. Don’t be afraid to allow those lungs to fill, and it’s a good sign if your stomach comes out!
